Answer: The size of the blades are all the same, 115mm. The blade to cut rough timber is the one with less teeth with more distance between the teeth. The blade with the teeth closer together is for fine cutting like picture framing timber. Having said that, because the blades are small, you will find either blade will give a smooth cut. Remember if you are getting splinters, if you were laying timber floor, just turn the timber so the chips or splinters are underneath and will not be seen. This should not happen if you let the saw do the work and not force the tool. Hope this answers your question? Good luck. -
