TIMCO Window Hardware PACKER Editorial Review
The TIMco PACKER Assorted Flat Packers offer a versatile and reliable solution for various applications. These packers are made of hard, rigid plastic, designed to withstand heavy weights. They are commonly used for glass in double-glazed windows and as packers for kitchen units to secure them against walls. With a pack of 200, users have a wide range of sizes to choose from, ranging from 1mm to 6mm in thickness. The packers come in different colors, making it easy to identify the desired thickness at a glance. While the packers can be stacked, it may be a bit fiddly for more than two, as the bottoms are not solid. However, the ridges on the packers ensure that they do not slide when stacked together without the need for gluing. For stacking multiple packers, gluing along the edges and back-to-back may be necessary. Customers have found these packers to be reliable for various purposes, including leveling heavy objects and packing up uneven surfaces. They can be used to level a 450L fish aquarium and cabinet, as well as to pack up unlevel surfaces under a summerhouse base frame. To prevent movement, it is recommended to silicone or grip fill the packers in position. Overall, the TIMco PACKER Assorted Flat Packers are a trustworthy option for those in need of reliable and versatile packers for various applications.
