FrontierFila Filament 3D Printing Materials Editorial Review
This is a 4 pack of PLA filaments - green, pink, yellow and glow-in-the-dark. The filament is dark green when cold and then changes color to yellow-green when warmed above ~32C. It is translucent to let the glow out from inside the material. It is recommended to extrude at 180-200°C. However, the filament is brittle and snaps when printing which ruined many prints. Some believe that it has tolerance issues and has a higher temperature melting point than most PLA. The set of filaments is good value and has fast delivery. The filament has good precision, no oozing and better than good adhesion on PEI. In summary, the color-changing filament is fun to use and the colours are great, but the brittle nature of the filament is a significant con.
