Are these markers safe for children?
Answer: Yes, they are nontoxic and safe for all ages. -

Do I need to heat set the designs?
Answer: No, the designs are permanent without heat setting. -

Answer: Yes, the designs are machine washable and resistant to fading. -

How well do the colors hold up after being washed in a washing machine?
Answer: The colors will fade some after several washings but can be reused to mark whenever necessary. The best fabric markers, however, are the ones that are specifically made for textile design. -

Do these markers work on microfiber?
Answer: Yes they do. Sometimes they do bleed into the other color. Just touch lightly. -

Do these markers work well on wool blend felt sheets? I'm making a felt story board for my son and want to add some detail
Answer: I would say they don't work well on 'hairy' type fabrics. I used mine on cotton tees and even then it took quite some time because you have to do small little brush strokes. They would work BEST on a canvas type fabric with a nice tight weave - but that's the case with most fabric markers... -

How well do these work on a rougher fabric, like the canvas in tote bags you can get in craft stores?
Answer: Well, I am primarily a quilter and use them on 100% cotton. However, I went ahead and tried them on a tote bag from a craft store. They worked just fine. I did have to go over an area twice that I was filling in because of the roughness of the material. I tried some letters as well and they looked nice and crisp. -

Are these marker alcohol based or water based?

Will oxyclean or a stain remover remove the marker?

After my fabric marker-designed tee shirt dried for a few days I washed it on cold/delicate and the markers all bled. Any tips on preventing this?

Answer: I am not sure never tried I use them to draw with words and images with great success. -

How would it work on a jacket that requires dry cleaning?

Do they bleed? I want them for canvas sneakers
Answer: I used them to make my granddaughter tee shirts with her favorite characters on them. No bleeding on the soft knit cotton.
