Is this 1 gasket or the pair?
Answer: This is just one gasket. You will have to buy two for your small block. And copper spray-a-gasket is highly advised for this steel shim head gasket. -

Is this gasket for a 1995 chevy 6.5 tubo deisel
Answer: This gasket is not for a GM 6.5L turbo diesel. Gasket is for small block Chevy gasoline engine 265 cu in - 350 cu in. -

Will these work on with vortec heads?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. Fel Pro does NOT show the 7733SH1 working with the Chevy Vortec cylinder heads. -

Which side is up on this gasket? Thanks in advance.
Answer: Place the head gasket on the engine block and you will see 2 dowel pins. The gasket should only go on one way. The 2 ends that go beyond and point toward the intake manifold will be the sign that the gasket is on correctly. -
Question:
Is this gasket compatible with aluminum heads?
Answer: I would say no, these have steel shims. I think aluminum heads need composition gaskets.

The FEL-PRO 7733 SH-1 Head Gasket is a steel shim head gasket and is designed specifically for small block Chevrolet gasoline engines ranging from 265 cubic inches to 350 cubic inches. The gasket is not compatible with GM 6.5L turbo diesel engines or Chevy Vortec cylinder heads. Copper spray-a-gasket is highly recommended for use with this gasket. When installing, make sure to place the head gasket on the engine block and line up the dowel pins to ensure correct orientation. It is important to note that this gasket has steel shims and may not be compatible with aluminum heads.
