The kit includes a snare drum and a bass drum with mounting clamps for a shell-mounted cymbal holder and mounting the drum off a cymbal stand. The kit does not include any hardware, cymbals, or throne. The bass drum provides a surprisingly deep tone, while the snare drum produces a cool sound with a high-quality throw-off and snare wires. The kit is easy to transport and set up, and the stock heads are easy to tune. Although the shallow depth may lack projection and lacks protection, the tone is excellent, and with a mic, the sound is just as good as a full kick. The kit is perfect for tight setups and smaller stages and rooms, but it is not recommended for larger venues or apartments as it is not particularly quiet.
