Its ballasted body allows it to move around evenly, providing thorough cleaning of the entire pool floor.
Partially mounting to the walls, it ensures a comprehensive cleaning experience. It's important to note that the Intex Auto Pool Cleaner must be connected to a filter pump with a flow rate between 1,600 and 3,500 gallons per hour (6056 - 13248 liters per hour). Additionally, it should be connected to the outlet of the filter pump. Before storage, it is advised to clean the pool cleaner for optimal performance. The Intex Automatic Pool Cleaner is designed for above ground pools and is connected to the outflow pump to keep your pool debris-free. It is not a vacuum and won't pick up dirt like one. It has a basket that covers most of the pool screen, thus preventing most dirt from settling on the bottom, and keeping it suspended instead. The pool's main filter can then pick it out. This cleaner needs a pump of 4000 output or more to do an adequate job. The C hoses leak after several months due to their cheap quality. So, the user needs to keep them lubricated with vegetable oil to keep them moving. The product comes with the required adapter to attach the hose to the water return connector. The key to this product's working is attaching it to an appropriate pump. If you have a smaller one, such as a 1500 GPH cartridge filter pump, this will not work satisfactorily.
