Adjacent channels can be bridged, to provide 3 x 400 watts, 8 Ohms or 2 x 400 watts and 2 x 175 watts, or 1 x 400 watts and 4 x 175 watts. Two of the channels can be bridged and used as a subwoofer amp with frequency x-over and level control. Hi-Fi AUDIO: RCA connections ensure a seamless setup. 12V TRIGGER: Control for remote power on/off. INDIVIDUAL CHANNEL LED’s: displays the amp’s status - ON, Standby, or Protection mode. 105 dB SNR: at rated power, for exceptional dynamic range. Ground terminal to help troubleshoot hum issues Audiophile, high-powered, low-noise and distortion, 6-channel amplifier. Highly configurable, 3, 4, 5 or 6 channels with subwoofer controls. Fan assisted, Cool-running Class D design that can be used in confined spaces such as a rack or credenza. Switching power supply provides excellent rejection of RF from nearby electronics or mains. This is the ideal home theater amps for use in less than perfectly ventilated spaces. This is also the perfect amp for an outdoor system that comprises main speakers and a passive subwoofer. 400 watts is available to power a subwoofer and 175 watts for each of four patio speakers. The HTX6150 can easily achieve the reference cinema sound levels of 105dB from all channels. The HTX6150 is rated at 175 Watts per channel, all channels driven (not just one channel, as stated by most competitors) into 4 Ohms. Used with typical speakers, this allows for a sound-pressure level of 109-112dB, 4-7dB more than required for reference sound levels. The additional dB’s means the amplifier is working well within its normal range, and this keeps the distortion low. (A good example of this is turning your TV up too much - it does not sound good. This is because the closer you get to full power the higher the distortion.) With this amplifier at 105dB, the distortion is below 0.02%. By choosing the best components, we can also achieve 105dB SNR at full power. This allows for a very wide dynamic range, allowing you to hear the softest and loudest sounds more clearly. This combination of performance specifications is hard to find from any amplifier, regardless of price.
