The American Standard 2175.504.002 Colony Soft Single-Control Lavatory Faucet with Speed Connect in chrome is a sleek and elegant design that is easy to use and clean. However, this faucet does not come with a quick connect stopper/drain pipe, and there is no hole in the faucet for a drain stopper mechanism. Some customers realised after receiving the product that it does not have a lever in the back for operating the pop-up drain in the sink. One customer replaced the pop-up drain with a grid drain instead. Installing the faucet was easy, but removing an old faucet was the hard part due to corrosion and mineral build-up. There were also complaints about missing drain plugs and access to the screw for the handle. Customers who called American Standard for assistance were told there would be a minimum charge plus shipping.
