The Crossrock ABS Molded Style Mandolin Hard Shell Case is a sturdy and well-Constructed product that protects the instrument well. The case has a hard shell exterior and wine red interior with extra padding on the neck and bottom areas of the top case. The bottom padding is thick enough to offer adequate protection while the suspension of the instrument keeps it from touching the top of the case. It also comes with an option to customize the fit of the case to the instrument with provided extra padding. The back strap clips are tightly built, and there is a center storage compartment for accessories. The case is reliable for travel and can easily fit into the overhead compartment of a plane. The only downside is the hard handle, which tends to flop back and forth and can create an annoying noise while being carried on the back.
