The fertilizer contains 46% phosphorus and 30% of it is immediately available in soil mediums, while the rest is available as the granules break down in the soil medium. The recommended usage for a standard 3-gallon pot is a little over 1/4 teaspoon in a cup of water to fertilize and repeat per package directions. For medium potted plants, a tablespoon a month will be fine, but it also depends on the plant and the season. For lawns, the direction specifies 1 cup for each 100 sq. ft. or 1 cup for each 10 ft. by 10 ft. section of lawn. This product has received generally positive feedback from customers. It has helped to thicken up lawns, feed gardens and fruit trees resulting in excellent results. However, some customers had issues with the packaging and delivery of the product.
