The Victor Technologies 0384-2544 Medalist 250 System is a cutting system that is perfect for those in need of a propane/natural gas service. It comes with a G250-60-510LP Fuel Gas Regulator that works amazingly, but the psi scale on the gauge could be more legible. The hose that comes with it is 15' long, and some customers have added more hose to it. The torch itself has a weak feel to it as it has a plastic grip and stamped metal cut lever which some users have found undesirable. The knobs on the torch are too easy to turn, causing settings to accidentally change, but once set up correctly the torch works well and can cut through steel thicker than expected. Customers have reported that it is an excellent and compact package and comes with everything needed to get started except for the tanks. The quick connections are an amazing addition and are appreciated by those who own the system. It is noted that this kit does not include a brazing tip, but in skilled hands, the cutting head turned down could be used to braz. A customer has mentioned that finding correct adapters for other processes like brazing took them and their local welder supply place over an hour. Overall, this product works amazingly for cutting metal and heating up for bending, but be prepared to search for adapters if you need to use this for other processes.
