Pirastro Viola Pir-4788 Editorial Review
The Pirastro Obligato up to 16.5" Viola String Set in Medium Gauge is a top-quality string set suitable for violas ranging from 15" to 16.5". The set includes A-steel wound with aluminum, D- and G-silver, and C-tungsten-silver strings, all with ball-ends. The A-string also has a removable ball. These strings provide a rich, warm tone with a full sound and excellent projection. They are well-made and durable, lasting longer than most other strings. They are a bit pricey, but their exceptional sound quality makes them worth the investment.
