This Fellowes 5216901 Quasar 500 Electric Comb Binding System allows for easy binding of documents in-office with a two-step process of punching holes and attaching combs. It has a small wheel on the left side that could potentially adjust the depth, and it can accommodate smaller paper sizes by cutting the combs down to size. It cannot be used without the electric cord. The machine comes with a set of combs, but additional combs need to be purchased separately. It can punch up to 11-3/4" paper, and there is no way to adjust the settings for oversized covers. However, there are mixed experiences with this product. Some customers have found it easy and efficient to use while others have had issues with the machine breaking down and not punching holes completely, particularly in hard plastic covers. Despite issues, customers have made hundreds of copies with the machine and appreciate the electric aspect making it easier on their arm, as opposed to manual models.
