The Delta Faucet T27897 is a traditional monitor 17 series valve trim with 3-setting integrated diverter. It is compatible with the Delta Faucet R22000 MultiChoice Universal Valve 3-Setting 6-Setting Custom Shower Integrated Diverter. It is not recommended to be installed with a tub spout on the R22000 Rough Valve Body. The maximum system flow rate is 5.8 gpm at 60 psi with a model R22000 valve rough. It only includes the temperature cartridge along with the diverter cartridge. It is compatible with all 13/14/17/17T series models of the integrated diverter trims. The Delta T27897-SS diverter offers three settings, one shared setting and two individual settings. The T27897 is a Monitor pressure-balance unit, while the T27T897 has a TempAssure thermostatic cartridge. Overall, the reception of the Delta Faucet T27897 has been positive, customers have found it to be beautiful and very functional, and great for bathroom remodels. The temperature control function has been appreciated along with the easy switch between overhead shower to handheld shower. The appearance is nice, although water spots do show. However, one complaint was that it arrived with the wrong diverter cartridge, and another user had to purchase the trim components separately.
