It offers a maximum receive refresh rate of 500Hz and a minimum receiver refresh rate of 25Hz, ensuring smooth and responsive control. The HappyModel ELRS PP 2.4GHz RX SX1280 EXPRESSLRS Nano Long Range Receiver EP1 RXEP2RX is incredibly lightweight, weighing only 0.44 grams.
Its compact dimensions of 10mm*10mm*6mm make it easy to install on any drone or RC aircraft without adding significant weight. The EP1_RX variant of this receiver features an omnidirectional antenna and a peak gain of 2.23dB, while the EP2_RX variant boasts a ceramic antenna with a peak gain of 3.7dB. Both options are powered by 5 volts and deliver exceptional performance. Binding this receiver is a simple process. Just supply power to the PP/EP1/EP2 RX, wait for the LED on the receiver to turn off, then repeat the process twice more.
On the third power cycle, the LED will start to double-flash, indicating that the receiver is in binding mode. To complete the binding process, insert the ES24TX module or any other DIY 2.4G ELRS TX to your radio transmitter. Choose the External RF mode to CRSF protocol, navigate to the ELRS menu, and press Bind. The LED on the receiver module will become solid, confirming a successful bind. The LED status of the EP1/EP2 RX provides valuable information.
A solid LED indicates a successful bind or an established connection, while a double-flash LED means the receiver is in bind mode. A slow flashing LED suggests no signal connection, and a fast flashing LED indicates the receiver is in WIFI hotspot mode for firmware upgrades.
