Thames & Kosmos My Robotic Pet - Tumbling Hedgehog is a STEM experiment kit that lets you build a sound-activated, rolling pet hedgehog using a transmission module. The kit is a Toy of The Year Award Finalist and produces a hedgehog that is 17.5 cm tall with its spines outstretched and 21 cm long when not rolled up. The kit does not come with tools needed, including a Phillips screwdriver, scissors, diagonal cutters, nail file, ruler, felt pen and (4) AAA batteries. The manufacturer offers replacement parts by submitting a request through the website. The hedgehog sometimes misaligns, but the Technical Support Team is knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot the issue. The hedgehog is challenging to assemble and not recommended as a gift.
