Answer: We purchased to process Aluminum composite panels. These should also route aluminum honeycomb panels just fine, if thickness of the panel or depth of route is not an issue. -

Can this be used in a plunge cut? Can it be used in a cnc router on solid aluminum sheet to make folding easier?
Answer: The carbide steel is capable of cutting aluminum. Like any machining, be observant of your chiploads, feeds and speeds, as well as chip evacuation. Research K-factor with you specific application and materials in mind.
