It is similar to the Clairol Hairpainting kit but not as recommended as that kit or the Clairol Frost and Tip kit. The kit includes a cap for pulling your hair through and doesn't need a toner afterward. It's best to use on hair that's not already been lightened and has no semi or demi-permanent hair color. Testing a strand of hair is highly recommended before applying the product. The kit doesn't have an expiration date until you mix the peroxide with the powder. Customers seem to have enjoyed the product, giving positive feedback, and sharing their experiences. Some users have enjoyed using the product on their own, while some have used it to read out loud to children, creating a memorable experience of Goosebumps and monsters.
