The jacket is mid-thigh length, super warm, and cuts the wind. It has an inside vest that adds warmth and allows the coat to be undone when feeling too warm. However, it is not meant for harsh winters or extended periods of below-freezing temperatures. It can snag and burn easily and the zippers have a tendency to break within 1-2 years of use. Also, the material doesn't seem to last, as the stitches tend to come off. It's a nice-looking coat that fits well, but if you have a large bust or broad shoulders, go up a size or two.
