The Noctua NH-U9 TR4-SP3 is a CPU cooler specifically designed for the larger Threadripper processors. It keeps an overclocked 1950x decently cool but doesn't fare well with the more powerful 2990Wx. It is also incompatible with Ryzen 9 CPUs. It doesn't fit the X399 Gigabyte Designare motherboard due to overhang issues. Users may have to drill a hole in their PC case for better airflow. It comes with everything needed for installation and has an adjustable fan height, but some users had issues with broken screws. Overall, it is a high-quality unit, though users may want to opt for the larger 140mm option if they have enough space.
