The kit comes with switches to control heat pads that protect exposed holding tanks in late fall, making it an excellent option for those who engage in boon docking. The switches are marked clearly, which makes it easy to connect the right wires. The build-in red indicator light makes it easy to check if the heater pads are turned on, even in the night. Turn on the switch, Red LED light on, and heater pad start to work. Turn off the switch, Red LED light off too, and heater pad stops working. However, some customers have had issues with the switches popping out of the housing, and the clips not holding the wires securely, which could pose a challenge during installation.
