Xyron Creative Station Lite Refill, 3" x 18', Permanent Adhesive Refill (624741)

The Xyron Laminate Magnet Refill is a 5" x 7" cartridge designed as a refill for label makers, laminator machines, scrapbooking supplies and home & school craft supplies. The cartridge works well with the Xyron Creative Station and fits new models 9" Creative Station with the 5" option. However, the cartridge cannot be used in the Create A Sticker model 500. The cartridge applies adhesive and laminate to the top but cannot apply adhesive to the back with this cartridge. The sticker comes with backing that can be peeled off before sticking. The machine is for making stickers and not cutting, printing or stamping. The adhesive is water-soluble, so it does not make waterproof stickers. Some customers had negative experiences with the product. A few customers' refills broke in the middle of running it through the sticker maker, rendering it useless. One customer found the adhesion of the product to be poor and that it pulls off the top as well. Another disappointment was with the high cost of refills and the company's inability to keep replacements in stock, making them almost as expensive as the machine. At the same time, some customers have been using the Xyron products for years and find the laminate with adhesive excellent for making stickers.
