Question:
Any suggestions on what size for flounder?
Answer: If you’re fishing for fluke (AKA Summer Flounder) I would suggest starting with a 3/0. Unfortunately every hook manufacturers sizes vary! A mustad wide gap in a 3/0 size may be very different than a Gamakatsu, Owner, or any other manufacturer. If you find the Mustad 3/0 is too small... go larger next time. You should know that the Mustad hook is plenty strong enough to land any size fish. -
