The 5557CBK-S kit is not compatible with Chevy 1948-1954 stock cars, and it does not add much track width to the front. The kit includes all necessary hardware, hoses, calipers, rotors, brackets, banjo bolts, bearings, seals, clips, dust caps, and bolts. The upper kit comes with an 8-inch dual booster, disc/drum master cylinder, disc drum prop valve, valve bracket, valve lines, and bracket bolts. Unfortunately, the kit does not come with hard lines from the booster down to the flexible lines. This conversion kit is not designed to work with 14-inch wheels. The company does not sell a kit with backing plates. Overall, the customers seem to be satisfied with the product. They found the kit easy to install and noticed a significant improvement in braking performance. Some customers did find issues with matching the kit to their specific car models, but those seem to be isolated incidents.
