It does not come as a set and is sold as a male or female connector separately. The wiring diagram for the connections between the RJ45 and the DB9 connectors is 1-3,2-2,3-7,4-8,5-6,6-5,7-4,8-1. The product supports up to 20 meters (65.6 ft) and requires a pair to use together. While some customers found the adapter to be solid and well made, others had trouble getting it to work, with some stating that it is not wired correctly and does not extend RS232 as advertised.
