In summary, customers had mixed experiences with this speaker. It fits an enclosure hole size of 5.875" and has a mounting depth of 2.875". The speaker is being used as a replacement center channel speaker in a 7 channel, 700-watt Pioneer Elite system with a maximum wattage to channel of 100 watts. There is no template included, but customers have provided advice on how to determine the positive tab. It cannot be used to replace an outdoor speaker not designed for outdoor use. Some customers had success using it to replace the sub-woofer in their Klipsh computer speakers or Klipsch promedia 2.1 speakers, while others found the bass not as tight or as hard as the original speaker. The speaker was well-protected during shipping and had standoffs to avoid damage. One customer found the sound quality to be good after a break-in period of 5-10 hours. Another reported easy installation and good sound for the price, although not quite as good as the originals.
