Instead, it should be painted over after the surface is cleaned properly. The most significant advantage of Dupli-Color Black Undercoat is that it is effortless to install. Specifically, it can be applied to the instrument cluster of a car to replace faulty stepper motors. However, one must be careful while desoldering old motors and installing new ones, as the legs are bendy. Overall, the Dupli-Color Black Undercoat is an excellent product for protecting vehicle undercarriages, as well as for replacing stepper motors in instrument cluster gauges.
