However, it is not recommended for use in water, as water could get trapped between the two layers. The filter fits perfectly with the housing/frame case that comes with the Hero 7 Black. Unfortunately, it cannot be used with a macro lens. Some users have reported issues with the filter falling off, but it can be fixed with an added layer of tape. The filter works well in eliminating glare and vignetting issues.
