Ram Board Treads Editorial Review
The Ram Board Stair Armor is a pack of six stair protectors designed to fit loosely over stairs with a tread protection ranging from 10-11”. Each sheet is 34" wide with scores across the product for easy folding down over a stair bullnose and up over a stair riser. There’s also a piece of foam tape on the back of each sheet to provide additional traction between the stair and Stair Armor when pressure is applied. These stair protectors are recyclable and reusable, and they’ve been reported to work great on a variety of hard surfaces, including painted stairs. Customers’ experience and reception with this product have been mixed. While some found the product does its job well by protecting their stairs from everyday wear and tear, heavy traffic, and even external machines, others found it challenging to keep them in place under heavy usage as the release tape tends to slip off. Additionally, some users might find it pricey for what it does.
