Nrg Gen 2.0 Sfi Approved Quick Release - Black

The Nrg Gen 2.0 Sfi Approved Quick Release is a somewhat polarizing product. On one hand, it is well-built and functions as a quick release as intended. On the other hand, it does not come with the necessary connectors for the horn, which can be a major inconvenience for users who want to retain the use of their horn. Multiple customers have expressed frustrations over the lack of horn hookups and the misleading product images that show connectors for the horn. This means that users have to manually connect and disconnect the horn every time they remove the steering wheel, which defeats the purpose of a quick release. Some customers have also reported issues with the play in the wheel, specifically up and down and left and right movement caused by loose ball bearings. Additionally, the wiring for the horn can be easily damaged if the wheel is twisted into position, further adding to the frustrations. While the quick release itself functions adequately, it is not recommended by customers who value the convenience of having the horn automatically disconnect with the steering wheel. There are other Nrg quick releases available at a similar price range that offer this feature. Overall, the Nrg Gen 2.0 Sfi Approved Quick Release may work for some users who don't mind the inconvenience of manually connecting and disconnecting the horn, but for others it falls short of expectations.
