It is easy to install and the wires match quite well with the old ones. Although, some trimming around the handle may be necessary but it is worth it in the end. The switch fits the T handle thumb control, so make sure that is the switch in the handle before purchase. Most of the problems with the trim switch can be due to bad position and limit switches. If you can raise your drive with the trailer switch but not the trim switch you have bad position and limit switches which need to be replaced, not the trim switch. Overall, this product is a great investment with its fair price, and long-lasting components.
