Answer: The mat is molded to the passenger side so it sits in the foot area and does move slightly but I wouldn't say it slides. I have been very happy with my purchase of these mats. In all honesty, I don't have a lot of passengers so I can't answer to how the mat stays in place under lots of ins and outs by passengers. I hope this answers your question. -
