    Answer: You can use a lighter but a butane Micro torch works great.

    Answer: No problem, they work very well.
  • Question: Are they waterproof?

    Answer: These apparently do NOT have the adhesive inside as advertised. With my 600 piece Camtek kit, the adhesive comes out of each connector and is just visible. With these in the 300 piece kit, nothing, there isn't even visible evidence of adhesive in the connector as it's heating up and shrinking (in the 600 piece it's clearly visible while heating). I'll be returning mine tomorrow. These are not the same 'waterproof with adhesive' connectors that are in my other kit, not even close (other than they are blue).
  • Question: Will these work with a raychem ratcheting crimper?

    Answer: I would think so. I don't have one of them.
