It is a barebones unit, meaning RAM, storage, and operating system will need to be added. It has an adapter that resembles a laptop power supply and a single band 2.4 GHz wireless card. The device is not compatible with 8GB memory, FreeBSD 10.3 or the add-on card for four extra LAN ports. User experience with this device was generally positive with many people using it for a firewall, web filter, router, and other projects. Some experienced issues, such as video output becoming fuzzy and crashes after reboot, ports not coming up as 1Gbps or the device sometimes not booting. The device runs hot, but with proper cooling, it is an excellent buy for those on a budget.
