The Benro C0691T Travel Angel Transfunctional Tripod Kit with Carbon Fiber Twist Lock Legs with B00 Head is a highly recommended lightweight tripod that folds easily and feels solid. Its twist lock legs may take some time to get used to but it's not a major issue. The tripod is steady enough to hold a Nikon D600 with a 28-300mm lens, but may not handle much heavier camera/lens combinations. The Benro's bag is also useful as a minimalist camera bag. A customer used this tripod during a Presidential Traverse attempt in the White Mountains in New Hampshire and was happy with its lightweight but capable features.
