Answer: The gear in the drive is made of ABS plastic with stainless steel components. -

How stable is it? Can I stand up in it? Does the pedal flip up to paddle?
Answer: You can stand in relatively calm water. Flipping up the pedal drive involves using one hand to flick back two buttons, then grabbing the handle to swing it up. -

What is the kayak rated for with hp?
Answer: The kayak is rated for a maximum of 2 hp or a 30 to 40 lb trolling motor. -
Question:
Does this have a fish finder transducer mounting spot or a dedicated scupper hole for mounting one?
Answer: The BKC PK series of kayaks do not currently have a recessed scupper hole for mounting a transducer. It is recommended to use Scotty mount plates and a Scotty #140 transducer mounting arm to mount the transducer over the side of the hull. -

Answer: Yes, the kayak comes with a cover that allows you to take out the pedal drive unit and not use it. -
