However, you have to provide your own Raspberry Pi, two 18650 LiPo batteries, and a battery charger. The robot is compatible with RPi 4, dynamic walking, and have multi-leg cooperative work. While the robot structure is not compatible with Pi zero, it is possible to carry about 2KG. The robot has space to add a fan, but the hat makes it impossible to get a fan on the CPU. Regardless of the surface, the quadruped spider robot can walk on a carpet, and users can program it to wander autonomously and avoid objects. Based on customer reviews, customers who had no experience with building complex models or Raspberry Pis found the instructions incomplete and challenging to follow. Customers found the manual not to be very thorough, with inadequate explanations that made assembling the robotic spider tedious.
