Answer: It’s incredibly easy to travel with. It folds up and has a handle. Though for going out to eat you may want one that attaches to a chair because it does take up some room. -

Answer: No, it's not easy for the child sitting in seat unless the child is maybe 2 or older. One can easily open the tray with one hand.

Joovy Nook High Chair is a highly recommended product for its ease of storing, leather-covered seat, removable tray top, adjustable depth of tray, and classic look. The seat does not recline, but it has upper straps and can be used at younger ages. It also has plenty of space for growing and folds easily for storage or travel. However, the chair comes with some design flaws, such as the tight spaces around the eating surface that make cleaning difficult. The adjustment option to move the tray over baby grows has tight spaces where food gets stuck and requires thorough cleaning. The leather seat is easy to wipe down, but seams hide food and needs vacuuming. Moreover, the chair doesn't appear ergonomic for babies who do baby-led weaning, solid starts, etc., as the footrest is long and can't be shortened, and the seat depth is deep. It also doesn't have a cup holder. The cover is not easy to remove.
