YKF Clear Waterproof Sealant, Self-Leveling Brush-On Coating, 12 Fl Oz

The YKF 34oz Clear Transparent Waterproof Sealant has garnered a variety of experiences from customers that highlight its ease of use and effectiveness while also marking some limitations and concerns. Many users praised the sealant for its versatility in addressing leaking issues around their homes. A customer who faced ant intrusion through a misapplied window caulking found the product effective in sealing the tiny gaps, ensuring complete waterproofing and eliminating the pest problem. The sealant's clear finish was also noted as an advantage, allowing it to blend seamlessly with existing surfaces. Several reviews echoed this sentiment; whether used on a newly painted birdhouse or a concrete birdbath, users reported that the sealant performed excellently in protecting their outdoor projects from rain and snow. While the majority of feedback is positive, the product is not without flaws. Some users experienced challenges, particularly when it came to long-term durability; one customer reported that after several days of waiting for the sealant to cure properly, it peeled and bubbled when water was added to their birdbath. Additionally, there were comments on the lack of clear instructions regarding proper handling and application, which led to some minor mishaps, including unintentional spills and difficulty using gloves effectively. Overall, the YKF sealant appears to be a solid solution for many water-sealing applications, appreciated for its ease of application and effectiveness, but potential buyers should be aware of its limitations with certain materials and scenarios. **
