DEFY Ultra Semi Transparent Exterior Wood Stain is a premium stain & sealer that comes in a 1-gallon container. This product can be applied with either a deck roller or a brush, however, a brush is recommended for a more thorough application. The product is not available in larger containers. The thickness of the stain is unknown, but it can be sprayed on and has the same Consistency as minwax. You can apply a second coat after the first has dried. The stain is more like worn out instead of peeling, it soaks into wood and dries without a shine. DEFY Ultra Semi Transparent Exterior Wood Stain has been used on an outside porch floor and knee walls, and it holds up pretty well to the elements, but scratches with foot traffic. The color of the stain comes out as a reddish-brown as mentioned in the reviews. The product is good quality and the color is perfect.
