The Musashi Umigame 1060 and 1045 Steel Blade Clay Tempered Samurai Sword Katana is a beautiful and well-made sword that is great for display, light to medium cutting, kata, iaido, and appreciation of a lovely blade. The blade is made in China and is clay tempered with a length of approximately 28 inches. The sword comes with a gift box, cleaning kit, and certificate. The seller, 1sword, provides fast delivery and carries individualistic upgrades not commonly found among production katanas. The blade's hamon and blue color are subtle yet real, giving it a unique and stylish look. The included wooden box is well-made, and the sword comes packed excellently. On the downside, some customers received their swords without the hand guard. One review noted that while the top half of the blade was very sharp, the bottom half was not. There were some issues with inConsistent sharpness among the blades. Finally, there were some concerns over the price, as some customers paid closer to $300, while others paid $200 for the same product.
