POR-15 Spray Paint 44318 Editorial Review
POR-15 is a popular high temperature paint that is suitable for use on a variety of surfaces, including metal and fiberglass. It is not recommended to use it on carburetors. While it is not a zinc-based paint, it adheres well to metal surfaces and can be used on ceramic-coated motorcycle exhausts. It is also suitable for use on inside walls of fireplaces as long as it's not applied over another coating. The paint goes on smoothly and covers well with a few thin coats that don’t run. However, the best results come from baking the paint on. Users report that the color is darker than other grey options on the market, and it works well on wood stoves, fire pits, headers, and exhaust manifolds. One thing to note is there could be a strong smell if used on a gas stove grate, but it dissipates over time.
