Renogy Solar Panels LTWT-Flex Editorial Review
This Renogy 100W solar panel has some mixed reviews, but overall customers have been quite pleased. Some customers found installation very easy, using heavy duty velcro and adhesive, or thought that it was lightweight and efficient. Others found uninstalling or changing cables difficult, or found that the MC4 connector got stuck. One frequent complaint was that the wire on the positive side was too short, making it difficult to connect two panels. Customers thought the diodes placed in opposite directions made it difficult to find appropriate branch connectors. There were also some concerns about the fragility of the special globular prisms on the panels that dramatically enhance their light gathering ability, with some customers suggesting that it may limit the ability to place these panels on boating surfaces which people walk on. There were also inquiries that were quite specific and technical about how to connect the panel to a particular device, for example connecting two panels in parallel or using the panel with a 30A nature power controller. Overall, the weight and portability of the panel was highlighted frequently, and customers seemed to find the product as advertised.
