Users must be careful while using it on delicate or hard materials to avoid chipping or gouging easily. The rasp is excellent for removing bark around curves and holes in wood. The tip of the rasp is about 1/4" wide by 1/8" in height and cuts fast. This is a great tool for fine-tuning dovetail joints too.
