With its excellent broad spectrum preservative properties, this clear liquid is the ideal choice for safeguarding your shampoos, hair conditioners, emulsion products, and more. Germall Plus is designed to address the challenges associated with incorporating solid Parabens. It easily dissolves at a concentration of 1.0% across a wide pH range, allowing for convenient incorporation into cold processed shampoos, creams, and lotions during manufacturing.
Simply add the Germall Plus slowly to your product with good stirring just before adding the fragrance. This incredible preservative has proven effective in preserving even the most troublesome formulations containing nonionic surfactants, proteins, soluble collagen, aloe vera extracts, and herbal extracts. By combining Germall Plus with methylparaben and propylparaben, you benefit from a comprehensive preservation protection for your sophisticated personal care products. With a recommended usage level of up to 1.0%, Kyabo Germall Plus provides your product with 0.30% Germall II, 0.11% methylparaben, 0.03% propylparaben, and 0.56% propylene glycol. For shampoos and liquid soaps, a lower dosage of Germaben II is generally required.
While Germaben II offers excellent preservation, we always recommend challenge testing to ensure preservative efficacy for each developed or modified product.
