Nevertheless, this mat may come rolled up which can cause a warped mat as cutting mats warp and curl easily. Also, it smells like chemicals and requires cleaning up with vinegar, baking soda or warm soapy water. The manufacturer suggests using a less expensive surface for a razor knife as it may permanently damage the mat.
