Liberon LIBSW0000G 100g Grade Steel Wool is an outstanding quality and Consistent product that is widely used for woodworking finishes and furniture refinishing work. Its #0000 super fine grade makes it perfect for tool rust removal as well. Highly recommended for antique and fine furniture enthusiasts for the past few decades, this steel wool is made of carbon steel. The product packaging states that it is made in the EU. It’s important to note that this is a very fine steel wool that can be easily pulled apart and used for hand sanding, but it would fall apart on a belt sander. The 1lb roll is tightly wound to save space but has no discernible starting point for unrolling, necessitating tearing it someplace initially to begin with, thereby creating an initial hassle. The product comes with no oil trace at all, which makes it different from other brands as it doesn't shed a ton of steel fibers on your workpiece. The quality of the product is excellent, but the price point may be somewhat high for some. Some customers suggest that using cheaper steel wool for hobbyist work will yield the same results.
