Meinl Percussion Cajons JBSUB2 Editorial Review
Meinl Percussion Bass Cajon Subwoofer Snare Sit-On Box Drum offers a rich, balanced sound that makes it a standout choice among cajons. Musicians appreciate its excellent low-end response without being overpowering, paired with a snare sound that, while not the absolute best, complements the overall experience nicely. The cajon's design includes front-facing sound ports which enhance the projection, making it ideal for acoustic settings. This feature allows for a greater dynamic range, catering to players who prefer a powerful punch without the need for excessive bending to reach the sweet spot. Comfort is a highlight, especially for taller players, as the larger size provides ample seating and playing area, enhancing playability. Overall, the Meinl cajon is well-crafted, visually appealing, and delivers great sound for both beginners and professionals alike.
