Another customer mentioned that it is important to properly wire the solenoid, with one wire being neutral, one positive for actuating the rod, and one positive for holding the rod in place after being pushed up. They advised that the positive wire for actuating the rod should only be hot while cranking. One customer had the solenoid working for 6 weeks before it suddenly stopped. Unfortunately, the warranty is only for 4 weeks, leaving this customer disappointed.
